We are pleased to announce that the planned strike action for Monday October 15th and Tuesday October 16th is not going ahead and that a draft agreement between Royal Mail and the Communications Worker’s Union (CWU) has been reached concerning the current dispute. The CWU’s executive is due to discuss the draft agreement this afternoon, Monday 15th October, and we will communicate their decision as soon as possible.
We hope! This will mean Christmas orders will be on schedule and we should be able to take orders all up until the end of November.
We have Christmas beads available so you will be seeing some of those with your orders if I can find them out. I have a big bag somewhere in the catacomb of materials.
I am also thinking of selling off some rexlace as I mostly sell dreads now. So you might see that on eBay once all the Elysee star dreads have gone. I am trying to get more Elysee’s in but the minimums are very large and I have nowhere to store 700 packets of dreads!
On the Elysee front, when they have gone they HAVE gone I am afraid. We might make a batch of double ended dreads over the christmas holidays to use up spare colours that are just kicking around. I have hords of lilac for instance! These will be sold at about £7-10 a packet.
